The benefits of fibre-reinforced polymers (FRPs) have been demonstrated in short-to-medium span bridge applications but these will be even more significant in larger span bridges. This will open a new era of bridge design, allowing innovative, dramatic and more efficient structural forms to be conceived and constructed.

Aim of the Event:
The adoption of FRPs will be a challenge to traditional bridge architects and engineers and so dissemination of technology will play a vital role. The aim of this NGCC conference is to take the first steps by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and concepts, and to showcase recent projects.
Who should Attend:
The event will be of benefit to all those involved in the bridge construction industry from material suppliers through to bridge engineers, architects and asset owners.
